Each year, UConn's graduating seniors present a gift to the University. This year's gift is named the Class of 2002 September 11th UConn Education Fund. This fund has been designed to provide scholarships for the children of the victims of the September 11th tragedies. [ Posted: March 14, 2002 ]
Many in the University community have been asking how they can help in the wake of the September 11 attack on the United States. This page is an effort to coordinate the opportunities to help and relay important information for the University community. [ Posted: September 13, 2001 ]
A memorial list of UConn alumni who perished in the September 11 terrorist attacks has been published in the Fall 2001 issue of Traditions, the UConn alumni magazine. The list has been added to this website. To see the list, please go to the Memorial page.

Metanoia - November 9-15. The University observed a period of reflection to focus on the events of September 11 and their aftermath. For the complete schedule, please see the Metanoia page. For news about the events, please go to the UConn Advance.
[ ADDED 10/02/01] This is also a time in wh ich we are concerned about ongoing efforts to maintain understanding and civility in the University community. The Dean of Students Office has established a hot-line for students with questions about upcoming events, concerns about rumors, and/or wanting to report a violation of the student code. Please call the hot-line at 486-3426 or visit the Dean of Students Office in the Wilbur Cross Student Center.
This page will be updated as frequently as possible with information on how you can help.
